FUN FACTS:
I was born in Calcutta, India and immigrated here with my family when I was 15-months old. My family chose the Bay Area because the night before they filled out their immigration papers, they had seen an "American movie" that took place in San Francisco and thought it was beautiful.
My Grandfather was very close friends with Mother Teresa, so we knew her well and would spend time with her when we would visit Calcutta.
My first job out of college was as a Production Assistant at Warner Television. Since I was the newbie, I was given the new, unknown pilots to manage: Friends, ER, and Hope & Gloria. Hope & Gloria only lasted 8 episodes. Working on Friends and ER was a BLAST!
At 32 years old, I chucked it all and chased my passion for design. I had always wanted to go to design school, so against all odds I was accepted to my dream school, Art Center College of Design, and graduated with a Master of Science in Industrial Design. To date, it’s the best and bravest decision I made.
